Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Grailzee LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Grailzee," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use Grailzee Connect (the "Service"). Because Grailzee verifies members' identity and net worth, we handle sensitive information with care and rely on specialized providers for the most sensitive steps.

The short version on your ID: When you verify your identity, your government ID and selfie are captured and checked by our identity-verification provider (Stripe Identity), not stored on Grailzee's own servers. We keep only the verification result (pass/fail) and a reference ID — we do not retain a copy of your license.
The short version on your financial accounts: If you choose to verify your net worth by connecting a bank or brokerage account, that connection is handled by Plaid. You enter your credentials with Plaid — never with Grailzee — and we receive only the account and balance information needed to confirm your bracket. Plaid's handling of your data is governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.

2.How we use information

3.Identity verification

Identity verification (government ID + selfie) is performed by Stripe Identity, which captures, verifies, and stores that documentation under its own retention controls. Grailzee receives only the outcome of the check and a reference identifier; we do not store the ID image on our servers. Stripe Identity's handling of this data is governed by its own privacy terms.

4.Financial account verification (Plaid)

You can verify your net worth by securely connecting a bank, brokerage, or other financial account. This connection is provided by Plaid Inc. ("Plaid"). Connecting an account is optional — you may instead submit supporting documentation to the verification team. When you choose to connect an account, you enter your login credentials directly with Plaid; Grailzee never receives or stores your financial-institution username or password.

By connecting an account, you grant Grailzee and Plaid the right, power, and authority to access and transmit your personal and financial information from the relevant financial institution on your behalf, for the purpose of verifying your assets and net worth bracket. To provide this service, Plaid may collect information such as your account name and number, account balances and holdings, transaction history, and identity details associated with the account.

You agree that your personal and financial information will be transferred, stored, and processed by Plaid in accordance with the Plaid End User Privacy Policy, and we encourage you to review it before connecting an account. From this connection, Grailzee retains only the information needed to establish and maintain your net worth bracket; we do not retain your account login credentials.

5.Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe on our website. Stripe processes your card and billing details; Grailzee stores only the information needed to manage your membership status and history (such as plan, status, and a transaction reference), not your full card number.

6.Messaging

One-to-one messaging and the verification concierge thread are delivered through a third-party chat provider (Stream). Message content is transmitted and stored to provide the chat feature. Grailzee's own systems hold the rules that determine who is permitted to message whom.

7.What other members see

Other verified members can see your profile information — such as your name, photo, title, companies, location, industry, and your verified net worth bracket — subject to the reach rules. Other members do not see the underlying evidence you submitted for your verification, your identity documents, or your payment details.

8.Service providers

We share information with vendors who process it on our behalf, under contract and only as needed to provide the Service. Current providers include Supabase (database, authentication, and storage), Stripe and Stripe Identity (payments and identity verification), Plaid (financial account verification), Stream (chat), Twilio (SMS verification), Expo (push notifications), and Vercel (website hosting). We do not sell your personal information.

9.Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Verification results are retained to maintain your membership status. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within 90 days, except where longer retention is required by law or necessary to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

10.Security

We protect information in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, limit internal access to those who need it for verification and support, and log access to sensitive data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11.Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage your profile in the app, opt out of push notifications in your device settings, and request account deletion at any time. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@grailzeeconnect.com, and we will respond as required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

12.Age requirement

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13.Changes & contact

We may update this Policy from time to time; we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you through the Service. This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. For any privacy questions or requests, contact Grailzee LLC at support@grailzeeconnect.com.
